Marge is an artisan baking company located in Seattle, Washington. We specialize in small-batch granolas and cereals using organic olive oil, lots of good nuts and seeds, Vermont maple syrup, and our signature blend of warm spices. We bake each batch at a low temperature for a long time to give it the characteristic toastiness that our customers have come to know and love. We dare you to find another granola like it.
We strive to use organic ingredients whenever possible, and never use processed sugars or preservatives in our granola. We also strive to support small family farmers and producers from the Pacific Northwest. It’s nice to be able to call up a ranch or small chocolate factory and talk to a real person that has actually grown or packaged the product themselves. That’s rare these days, but it still happens here.

Marge Bakery was founded in the fall of 2010 by food writer and baker, Megan Gordon. Initially a full-service baking company specializing in nostalgic sweets and pie, Marge Granola grew to be the company’s signature product quickly. Today Megan still produces each and every batch of granola in small batches, and ships them to grocery stores, food shops, and customers like you across the country each week.
“Notable Oats”
JUNE 2012
“Her primary combination of oats, pecans, almonds, dried cranberries, sesame seeds and pumpkin seeds–lightly sweetened with maple syrup and bound by olive oil – made us reappreciate a common staple. Now new flavors have been added to Marge’s cereal bowl. The similarly olive-oil- infused Hazelnut Cacao Nib and Apricot Pistachio blends provide crunchy nuttiness to sweet and savory dishes.”
“Greater Goods – On Our Wish List”
November 2012
“This not-too-sweet blend of apricots, pistachios and pepitas has become our go-to breakfast.”
“Binge Granola – Bring on the Campfire”
December 2012
“Marge Hazelnut Cacao Nib granola has a distinctly Northwest flair—perfectly roasted hazelnuts and smoky cacao nibs...toasted perfectly.”
“The New Grocers”
October 2012
In an article focusing on neighborhood groceries, Sunset Magazine highlights Marge’s Hazelnut Cacao Nib as making for “a great picnic.”
